Why do you believe in God or multiple Deities?

Hey, I wasn't planning on responding (being that I'm not longer a Christian) but being that no one else is, I might as well contribute. I was a Christian for 15 years and it was because I was raised by a Christian family as well as the fact that I was born in a predominantly Christian country. It was only after I saw a website about my religion being pagan was I able to open my mind to the possibility of my beliefs being wrong. That was the key to me doing research and becoming an atheist.
