How can i improve my mind powers?

Start thinking rationally. We are different from animals only because of the fact that we are able to think. And thinking rationally is certainly going to help in build up a very good mind. In Tamil, there is a couplet from the great literature "THIRUKURAL" written by the great Thiruvalluvar. It says "Epporul yaar vaayi ketpin Apporul mei porul kanbadhu arivu". It means whenever you hear anything from anybody, go deep into what is said and satisfy yourself whether what is uttered is correct or not. Do not accept facts on the face of it. So and so said or such and such book says should not be the ground for conviction. yse yourself and get satisfied and then accept anything. Here science plays a valuable guide to rational thinking. Examples of some of the irrational thinking are believing in superstitions, auspicious time, auspicious days and the likes.
