Yes and no- there are more options than that. We need to fix our insurance system, not our medical system. Socialized insurance, not socialized medicine. Look at Switzerland and a lot of other European countries that have mandatory insurance. Unfortunately a lot of people here balk at that idea. The alternative would be a single payer system like they have in Canada. Look for debates on these different methods of paying for health care in the future. But I am with you in that we need to do something!
