Bad straightener, no money!?

i bought a conair infiniti straightener last year for like $40 but it doesnt really work that great, my hair is always a bit wavy afterward and i want it really straight. when i get my hair cut, they straighten it with a chi and it works really good, but im not working anymore so im pretty much broke hah...are there any other straighteners that compare to chi ones but cheaper?
